Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists

“Oconics services our network around the country and in New Zealand, which includes data network and firewalls as well. We have 120 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We also have more than 11,000 members who log into our website to access applications and our training system from their mobile phone, tablet or PC. We provide a streaming media service to our members, so they can log in to our website to view recorded training sessions at any time of the day to meet the profession’s stringent training requirements. As we have a very difficult setup – being based in Melbourne with operations in every state – on-the-ground support would have cost too much, so we found it easier to deal with Oconics who provide remote support for all our network infrastructure. For us, their location is actually an advantage. Oconics has always exceeded expectations in the three years they have worked with us. Nothing seems to be too difficult for the Oconics team. Everything is delivered exactly on the time it needs to be done and it never needs to be revisited. We have great difficulty pulling things down as demand for training from our members is primarily after-hours. Oconics’ ability to get it done right every time is an absolute gold mine.”

Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists

The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) was incorporated in February 1992. The College’s function is thus to cultivate and maintain the highest principles and standards in the training, practice and ethics of anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain medicine.  To assist the ANZCA Council in achieving its objectives, the College engages professional and administrative staff located at ANZCA House, in the New Zealand national office, and in state and territory regional offices.
